Bay View Grand Ixtapa Marina, Cancun, Acapulco, Puerto Vallerta, Mexico Real Estate Developments - Final Payment Demand for Building not complete Mexico City

Bay View Grand Ixtapa Marina is demanding final payment for the condominium that is not completed yet against the contract and what we were told. The building was originally scheduled for completion in 2007 but it is not done yet. The latest news is the building may be done in summer of 2009. The concern is given the financial climate and other postings regarding Bay View Grand, they may be taking the money with no guaranty they will complete the project. Without the leverage of having paid on delivery, there is no certainly we will actually get possession of the unit. Like others we fear the loss of our investment. Be very careful of what you hear from BVG as consumer protection is very very little in Mexico.

Does anyone know of U.S. Based attorney that can represent US Citizens in a Mexican court?
