My husband and I got this letter in the mail saying we won a Government Grant and all we had to do was call this number and speak with the claim manager assigned to us, and ask for Tony Lawson of Jennifer Taylor. So we did, it sounded so real even though we could hardly understand him because of his heavy accent. So we deposited the money in our bank and then sent the $3,850 western union (that was for the taxes on it which we thought was ok because they sent us a check for almost $5,000) The remaining money was ours to keep and we were going to get a check for $33,000 on the following Tuesday.

We couldn't wait we were so happy we have 3 children ages 2,1, and 4 months so god knows we could use it. But that Tuesday came and we got a call from the bank saying the check was counterfeit. So now we are almost $5,000 in the hole and no way to get my kids milk, diapers, or formula. And no way to pay rent or any of the bills.

So who do we call for help? Usually the scammers won't answer the phone after the people they scammed finds out but I called and they still are, but the police can't do anything about it so were out almost $5,000 and there goes the checks that get deposited into our account for the next 2 months.
