Sears
Brakes Gone South!

Yesterday, I went to Sears automotive in Crystal River, Florida, where I buy all of my tires, brakes and any other services they provide, to get brakes. Well they fixed it, or they said they fixed it and I payed them close to 3 bills for their service. I left there about 7:00 pm, well after dark. I drove home to find the left rear wheel was smokin and smelled like rubber burning. I called sears and spoke to Matt, the assistant manager. I told him what was happening. He said, "come back". I told him I would be back in the morning so if I had a problem I would not be stranded out in the dark with the kids. I went today and they looked at it and Matt comes to me and tells me about something that got stuck (caliper). So I said, well then, get it unstuck and I will be on my way, or so I thought. Matt comes and says "Oh it's going to cost you $368.00 more. I could not believe it. I told him they charged 15.00 just to look and see what is needed and gave me a price. I told them to do it. They sent me home with worse brakes and then want me to pay another $300.00 to fix the truck again. Is this crazy or what? I just can't belive that they would let me drive home with 3 kids and myself without brakes. At least I had brakes the night before I let them touch my truck. I am a third generation Sears customer practically everything in my house is from Sears, all of my appliances, electronics, tools, paint on my walls, even the clothes in my closets. This is a great way to show me how much they care. Now I have a truck outside without brakes. Thank you Matt and Sears for all the trouble...
