Fraudulant Sweepstakes. Be Aware. Do not try to cash check or send any money!

I recieved this letter that read:

We are pleased to inform you through this letter that our network shows you as the lucky winner of an unclaimed prize money in the amount of Fiftyseven Thousand Dollars (57,000.00) in United states funds...

This letter came in an envelope that had a Canadian stamp on it with no return address. It also had a check in it totaling $1,962.55. I was instructed to call the agent. I called but the mail box was full. After doing some investigating on my own. I found this to be a scam. Here is how it works:
They send you this mailing which includes a check to cover taxes and fees. Whatever they are.
You Cash this check at your bank and call the agents phone number.

The agent instructs you to send them a check for the amount of the fake check your bank is trying to cash for you.

You send them the check but the check you cashed never clears the bank.

In my case I would have been out of $1,962.55.

I ask all who read this to either call Megan Green's (The Scam Agent) number and leave a nasty message or fill her P.O. Box up with nasty letters!!!
