In electronics there the manager, Taz Richie, feels that she can just doschedule people whenever she wants without warning, without say; she has another job lined up. So she feels she can do whatever and is overworking her employees. They've managed to hire SIXTEEN people in ONE department, and yes, there are days when all sixteen are scheduled within the same hours. It's become ridiculous and out of control. The people in the department don't make enough money because the Newburgh branch is one of the last in the line that still pays commission.in economical times like this, it is NOT OKAY to pay less than minimum wage and expect them to make enough to live off of on commission. They've also just LOWERED the commission to 1% ON EVERYTHING. There's just no way possible that they can make rent or morgage, and pay bills with this kind of ridiculousness. Not to mention that every time I'm in that store, the manager is doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. She just stands around and chats with people.
I don't know who to contact at Sears about this; and talking to you guys about this will probably do nothing as well. Life isn't fair I understand, but they should at least have a chance to put dinner on the table if they have a job. And they can't even do that anymore.
