USBI Ripoff! Beware! Scrutinize your phone bills

USBI slammed my phone bill for $8.51 a month and has been doing so since August this year. No wonder my bill was always more than I anticipated and I was seriously thinking about disconnecting it.

I never authorized this company to charge me for a service I can't even use. This particular phone line is only used for Internet access.

I called the billing number and was told that perhaps someone in my family ordered this. Bogus! I am a widow and live alone. This extra cost is not something I can afford as I am on disability.

I called AT&T and they are supposed to credit the charge back, however they have not done so at this point.

Why don't AT&T and other companies refuse to let USBI to charge us, the customer, until they have verified that the service was actually authorized?

They want to charge me, let me tell you they have messed with the wrong person. I have been calling their toll free number and cancelling my account and just letting the message keep repeating over and over until it finally hangs up.

If everyone who has been deceived by this company does this, it will cost them money and perhaps they will get the message that we are on to them and to cease and desist immediately!

Hope someone stops this company soon and makes them pay restitution to those whom they have STOLEN from.
