They call and tell you that they are trying to collect a debt, for a bank account from Cashnet Bank - they tell you that if you do not pay it now that you will be having to appear in court. Irvine, California & Chicago, Illinois

I got a call from a very rude man today at my house. He said he was calling from the United National Legal Department, which there is not a such thing, as i found out with my research. On my caller id the number that displayed was 1-312-962-5282 - From Chicago, IL - but when i asked the man where he was located, he said that he was located in Irvine, CA.

The address he gave me was 1385 W Chula Vista, Irvine, Ca. He called repeated times and then he would hang up everytime i asked him what company he was with and finally when i told him i was contacting my local police, that is the information he gave me, and he stopped calling. But he also said that he was with CashNet Bank, which i researched and i never found any such info. I did not give him anything he wanted, he wanted my social, d.O.B., address and drivers license info. I did not give him anything and i really hope he gets caught soon!

He told me i was a b*h when i continuously didnt give him the info that he wanted from me. When i let him know that i contacted my police department and his, he left me alone though. Please do not fall for this scam!!!
