I took a loan for $5,000 I think I got ripped off $1,888

I can't believe I did this, I have always known not to give any money before recieving a loan or something. I was promised $5,000 at 6% if I sent $930 to take care of the first 8 months payments. I thought this would be a way to get rid of my high interest bills.

I was skeptical but did it anyways. They called be back, said I needed to send another $930, because that was how the private lender wanted to do this because of my credit. Dummy me, I sent it moneygram just like the first one.

Guess what? They called the next day, said that the private lender backed out on the contract. I needed my back right away, but the private lender will only refund on the pay schedue, which is November 19th. I have this gut feeling I may not see anything. But charterstone said they will also give me $500. On top of that for my problems. I think they were just telling me that. I don't think I will see anything.

I tried the phone number to talk to someone since, but can't.
P.S. Because of this I may eventually lose my home.
