Charterstone Financial Group
Stewart Thompson, Michael Powers & Richard Benson Taken by Scammers with no benefit received

Miscellaneous

I applied for a loan and received a call from Charterstone Financial Group. I was told a lender was found and I was approved for a $5,000 loan. I was advised that the lender required 5 months of payments for collateral ($755) then I would have my check in 48 hrs. I sent this money. Two days later I received a call from the second individual Michael, supposedly the Acct Mgr who stated the lender needed an additional 5 months of payments for collateral ($755) and assured me I would have my $5,000. Two days later I received a call from Richard Benson, supposedly the Executive Mgr 1-877-621-3153 ext 174 who then stated the lender backed out of the loan and I could get a refund or he found another lender for more money and of course 10 months of collateral payments.

By this time I had already started to question the validity of the loan and I was told he his lawyers would be sueing the lender and I would get my refund on the next billing cycle. I have very serious doubts because of all the other broken arrangements. This should not be allowed on innocent people who work hard for a living.
