Falsely Accused of Stealing

I was working at the Waffle House in Lula, Ga and was falsely accused of stealing by the manager and fired after almost a year with this store.

Another employee came forward and reported that they had seen another employee take this money and this statement was ignored.

My reputation is in ruins in this small community and I cannot find a job because of this and they know I really can't afford an attorney to sue them.

This is just the icing on the cake for some crazy business practices that I observed while working at this location. Manger overrides the time clock we clocked in and out on and changed the hours we worked. They had mandatory meetings that we were never paid for. She fired most of her regular staff and hired prisoners in an exit program thru a local prison because they virtually are free labor. The state reimburses the company for up to the first 6000.00 they earn.

It was one of these prisoners that stole the money I was blamed for.

This manager will post a schedule and change it daily and never call to notify the employees involved. She will schedule 5 people to work and then the last 2 to show up have to go home because she knows she only needs 3.
