Rotten thieves! Tried to steal my money & cursed me out! America beware!

Omg!!! I received a letter from Shadowshopper but I believe that the REAL CULPRITS are just using that company's name to get your attention like they almost did with me! HA, ha. The jokes on you Amanda Douglas and Tim Water. America, these people are thieves, crooks and luckily, I am not stupid. I got a check for $2990.00 saying that I was chosen to be a mystery shopper for the company and to deposit the check into my bank account after calling one of the people above.

Which I did call and spoke to Amanda who at first seemed nice. I did some research on my own because I never applied to the company & why would they send me that much money UP FRONT in the first place? I checked the BBB and saw a scam alert, BINGO! I knew it! I called right back and asked Amanda where the check was from, it only had a name of Provident Bank on it. It was phony. When I asked her she said the most dumbest answer I have ever heard. She said it was located in America. I asked WHERE in America.

Then she abruptly said she had to get off the phone and to call her back in a few minutes. I did but this time a man answered saying Amanda wasn't available. I asked him if he was Tim Water, the other person listed in the letter. He said yes. He asked how he could help me. I asked him the same question and he replied with an even more stupid answer. He said what did you ask me? I told him that I know that this is a scam and asked him where the check was from if it's so legit. That's when he started cursing using the F word and I told him that I was going to report him to the Consumer Affairs, BBB, Ripoff and the States Attorney office. I don't know who these people are.

If you get any of these checks, DON'T DEPOSIT IT INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT! I know the check looks very real but it's not worth it! Go to the BBB site and read all about it, after typing in the company's name.

See for yourself what the BBB which is the Better Business bureau has to say about these people. People REPORT THESE CROOKS! Just like I am doing. Unfortunately, there are some people who will get burned and that's a shame because the old cliche is still true. The It's to good to be true... I just wanted to let people out there know what's going on and to take a stand against these people.

Always check these type of things out first. Especially if you KNOW that you never even contacted them in the first place. Never give out your phone number. If you call, block your number or call from outside your home and finally just use plain old common sense. Hope this helped you because although the money looked tempting.
