Red Line Events In Virginia Beach
They are a Pyramid Scheme and liars

Miscellaneous

Ok as you know from the title i have had a bad experience with the above mentioned Red Line Events in virginia beach, va. I was in the military and when i got out i was looking for a job on monster, career builder, jobs.com and came across red line events site. I read into it a little more and thought, wow they work with D.A.R.E. And Toys for Tots and Operation Smile. I would love to work with them, give me something to brag about to the family.

Well i applied and they said to come in for a interview, the same day! No flags in my brain went off, they should have but they didn't. They said to come in dressed to impress, so i wore my suit, worth over 500 dollars. I walked in to this dingy little office like it was constructed in 1 afternoon, and 5 people. I saw 2 other people there for their interview and sat down.

The "secretary" named Crysta gave me a paper to fill out, and i waited for my interview. Eric Ferrari (The President) came out and shook my hand, smile from ear to ear (the same cheesy, hand already in your pocket smile a thief would have) and led me into his office. The interview took no longer than 10 minutes. He said, (With the 2 things we talked about; one being my career hopes, and my military background)

" Well i usually talk to the management board and ask for advice of hiring but this time i will say that i am confident enough to offer you the job. Wear another nice suit and bring a notebook for notes." i said ok and went home and immediatley told my wife. She screamed and i thought that i had done good.

The next morning i went in and heard LOUD! Screaming from the back room, then Crysta told me to go on back after watching a video on Operation Smile. I must admit i was hyped by the video so when i got back there - everyone was high fiving and screaming JUICE!!! Like some bad cult movie.in the end they called teams and said who i would be riding with who and sent us off. I was with a man called Doug. We chatted on the way to the "event" and i was thinking we were gonna be at some school or performance hall with people just like us.instead we went to Panera Bread.

Set up a little table and Put out DARE T-shirts and crap safety movies and games worth i would say no more than 10-15 bucks. We sold them all for 2 times their worth. We sold a video of Lil Iguana for 30 bucks and threw in a little toy for the kids for "free". The video was worth 20 and the actual toy was worth 10 and you see how it just sounded to you like it was free but it actually wasn't.

Then Doug sat me down at lunch and said, "I like you... I think you would fit great here..." then he took me back to the office at about 7 pm. We arrived at the event at 11 am (on your feet all day - 1 break for lunch for 20 minutes) Then when i got there - not knowing Eric showed his smile again and asked me in the office. He said this is your third and final interview, and hired me.

So the next day i went out, learned that people had been doing this and are making six figures in months. So i am thinking that but then me and another person there started to break down numbers and realized that it doesnt work that way and people were lying and the biggest thing was this trip we took to WASH. Dc. For a big "conference".

So i was expecting it to be a buisness meeting with a really big table, instead it was just a bigger version of atmosphere (the screaming and high fiving thing i mentioned earlier) Then we went out there to do the same thing that we do in Virginia Beach. Then i realized that it was a fake way to make us work on saturday, and they gave us 40 dollars in gas money to get there (from Virginia Beach - to Washington D.C.)

Oh and we were driving in a SUV. It was 40 only. Not 40 there and 40 back, just 40. Also the day to day job, they give us NOTHING for gas money. While i was up there i spoke to alot of people doing the same thing and when i questioned them on the money they changed the subject and walked away and talked to someone else.

So when i got back from the DC trip, i was confused but still being unemployed without them so i locked it up. I went to work on monday morning and was called into the office - where Eric Ferarri FIRED ME. He said, " I don't think you are right for this job, so i am gonna have to let you go." I replied, " Are you firing me?" "He said, "Yes" not wanting to make a scene i politely said, " Ok can i go say bye to guys?" to which he replied, "I would prefer if you would not, and you could just leave" I smiled stood up, shook his hand and grabbed my coat. Oh and on the way out i said by the Crysta the "secretary" - Who actually is a Co-Owner beside Eric, and she didn't say anything. I left and i feel strangely better.

I am warning you - who ever you are that is reading this, DONT DO IT. It will wreck your personal life and the promotions dont do anything for you, you work completely on commission, no gas card - you pay for ALL gas you use, you stand out of places like Ace Hardware, WaWa, Petco etc. You embarrass yourself so much "for the kids", but Eric and Crysta just sit back and get money. Also, you arent allowed to be negative in anyway, you say something negative like - "man today was tough - knowbody wanted to help" and they think of firing you. They want you to be Joker (SMILE ALL THE TIME!)

So again i WARN - DONT DO IT!
