Always Helping People
Salesperson Lucas Powers magazine sales scam

Miscellaneous

On April 25 a young man named Lucas Powers came to my Grandmother's door selling magazines to win a "trip" somewhere. Against our better judgment, my Grandma and I both ordered magazines from the young man.

Now, it is Sept. 26 and still no magazines! My Grandmother is 83 years old and ordered Guitar World magazine, because she has always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. The receipt says to allow 120-160 days for delivery of the magazines. Well, that time has well passed and still no magazines.

There is no way to contact this company except the P.O. Box listed on the receipt, and from the looks of the other 13 reports filed on this site, it wouldn't do much good to try.

I don't mind the loss of the money as much as I'm angry about this company scamming older people like my Grandma. She has been waiting for this magazine so that she can learn to play guitar and doesn't understand what could have happened, that the magazine hasn't arrived? I'll tell you what happened! This company is a scam and it makes it a practice to steal the money of anyone and everyone it can on a regular basis!

I hope you are proud of yourselves, and I hope there is a lawsuit soon, that will put this company out of business.
At the rate that these magazines are delivered, my Grandma will probably be passed on before we ever see a magazine or a refund!

You should be ashamed, and change your name to Always Robbing People, it is a much more accurate description of your policies and operation of business.
