Purchased the magicjack few weeks ago. Plugged in the device, installed, opened an account and purchased 40 dollars wort of international minutes. I work overseas for the US army and my family is in Europe, the rates they have are very convenient. So i decided to purchase the little box. My second phone call to Europe and my credit dropped down to 20 $ for 1' 32"" phone call. Chat with customer service 4-5 times before to find out that their phone call log registered that phone call with a length of 1000'20"!!! Because their log call registering system sucks, I had to get on the phone other 3-4 times trying to explain that there was no phone call that lasted that long and that i had screen snapshots of my call log available to prove it!!! Several "we'll fix it, etc etc, we'll take care of it"" were made. Even a CSR very polite, mr Maynard, gave me his email to have emailed those snapshots. Nothing. Yesterday 25/Sept the last attempt. The only solution i was given is to call that phone number shown on my bank statement. I gave up... They had the log. Billing dept has been sent already few reports about my case... And now i had to get on the phone with them... From Kosovo.US Army base... With an internet connection that sucks. After about ten times that i have been re-assured that the problem would have been solved.
RIPOFF!!! Say away... Smashed mine with a hammer also... 100$ thrown out the window...
