Privacy Matters
Stole 19.95 from my bank account

Miscellaneous

I regularly check my bank statement on line. I found there was a debit authorization pending for $19.95 for something called Privacy Matters and an 800 number which I googled only to find this website and a number of other people who had been scammed.

I called them this morning to be told I had signed up for a free credit report. I said I hadn't and that they were thieves. "I'm sorry you feel that way. I'll refund your money." My bank told me they are legally obliged to tell me where they got my information. "Jackie" just repeated I had signed up and when I started screaming he had the nerve to tell me to stop raising my voice. These people are common thieves.
