Rips women of their money off... Do not sign up with them!

I signed up with Shapes Total Fitness the end of July. After a week of being a member, my fiance ended up getting a job back in Michigan where we are both origionally from. When I went into the Shapes to tell them my situation, I received horrible customer service from the manager (who was also the person I signed up with and she bent over backwards to get me to sign up).

It has now been almost two months since I signed up. I moved to Michigan the beginning of last month and I am still fighting to get my cancellation. I have sent out numerous e-mails without any response this month alone and during this time I am still getting charged with monthly fees. Overall I have paid over 200 dollars so far for a one time workout.

In my opinion, this has been very unprofessional. They should understand things like this happen and treat their members if it's cancelling or signing up or whatever the same way. Word of mouth is a very big advertisement for companies. I was about to have five of my girl friends sign up with them. After this experience, they decided to go to other gyms. I will never recommend Shapes to anyone.in the end, all they care about is the money they get from you.
