I purchased 2 3 year home warranty policies from National Home PRotection on FEB 4 for rental properties. I recently had an air conditioner that needed a minor repair. I filed a claim August 30th with NHP and have been lied to, jerked around, and redirected on this claim until 16 Sep 2008. I tried to cancel the policies and was told I by one representative that it would be a 250 dollar fee. When transfered to the cancellation department I was told that I could not cancel the policies because I was outside my 30 day window. I am basically our 2000 thousand dollars.

The second complaint is that there claim to the Home Depot rebate is also untrue. When I sent in the rebate form I was denied because it the form they sent me had expired. When I called the represenative tried to convince me I had sent in the paperwork wrong.

DO NOT buy a home warrranty from this company. They are truelly a rip off!
