Rip Off!

We contacted Premier Yacht Deliveries Ltd to get our sailboat sailed back from British Virgin Island to Copenhagen. We made an aggreement and signed contract. According to the contract we were suppose to pay half of the aggreed amount before the crew arrived, and the other half at delivery.

We got a date for when the crew were supposed to arrive.

Two days prior to this, we recived an e-mail from Rory Sinclair that the company were going bankrupped, and that he would just be working for another 6 days. He asked for our bank-tranfere details so he could transfere back the paid amount 3 700 additional 10 percent for our inconviniences.

After a few days the internet-site for Premier Yacht Deliveries Ltd dissapeard.

The money never came - we got in touch with him several times by phone and email. He continued telling and writing that he had tranfered the money. After a while he admittet to not have made the tranfere, but still telling us he would. He even proposed to pay 1 000 each month for four months. This offcourse did not happend, so we got in contact with him again - this time we had to find him. His did not answer his old phonenumbers or e-mail adresses - we found a new site to his name in www.sinclairmaritime.com with new phonenumbers - he was surprised when answering the phone. He told us that he would lend money from a friend for paying us back. Offcourse, no money. After this we have not been able to get in touch with him again.

Thats when we saw the Rip Off report on the net - that apperently we are not the only ones who got cheated by Rory Sinclair!
