I worked for Greg Tamberlane from 2006 to part of 2007. I was very disapointed in his business practices. I am talking about Stealth Marketing.

I found the advertisement online. He posted his advertisements over and over again. It's as if he was trying to grow his business all the way to CHINA!

When I did the interview, they actually took me out to show me exactly how to do outside sales. It was very cold outside. And I had to walk around all day in heels; Gregory Tamberlane only said to wear comfortable shoes, but did not say FLAT! I did not find it very professional.

The person who took me on the interview told me that I had to start entry level and that I had to work my way up. It sounded great but this way his way of getting people to join the company... And then mislead them.

I decided to take the position because there was an opportunity to move up. And I felt I could do it better than the person who interviewed me.

On my first day Greg Tamberlane went through pay structure. I didn't ask on the interview how it was structured, but figured there would be some kind of salary in outside sales. He told me it was commission, but I just figured that would be in addition to my salary. I was really suprised because commissioned sales, in the freezing cold winter was going to put a strain on me.

It got worse. Gregory Tamberlane trained me himself for three days. I mean, the OWNER of the company had to do sales also? What kind of executive has to work that hard? I had to go through a week more of extensive training, which they claimed would improve my communication skills. I figured Gregory Tamberane was just trying to prevent me from making money.

Greg Tamberlane also spent most of his time dealing with the people who closed the most accounts. He said that it was because they were the only ones who could afford their own meals at "team" events. He specifically told me that he wouldn't pay for all my meals. What a terrible person. I mean, couldn't Greg Tamberlane have afforded it?

I saw three other people get promoted while I was there. He told me it was because they had hit their sales requirements of 20 accounts in 2 weeks. I couldn't believe anybody could close 20 accounts in 2 weeks. Even on my interview the person I was out with only closed 3 accounts that day, and he was one of their best guys.

Overall I do not recommend working for Greg Tamberlane. He claims to promote people and run his business based on performance when really it is just favoritism.
