Vanlines4u Lied to me numerous times-scammed me

I entered into a contract with Vanlines4u to move my furniture on June 12th and paid my $250 deposit. On June 12 they said would be there at 3-4pm and never showed. I called they said 7-10 no show-I called they then said next day at 7:00 am since drivers wife was in hospital in Chicago. They never showed and then said would be 3-7 that evening. June 13 never showed then said was just leaving chicago and be there by 11pm no show and finally June 14 when I threatened to call another company they came at 1:00 pm. Immediately looked at my stuff (3 rooms) and said no way could they do it for amount agreed on and would do it for flat rate of $1950 and wanted $750 check up front. The truck was 3/4full of someone elses stuff so drive had to make 3 trips to a local storage facility to take my stuff (he was alone and paid my grandson $10pr hr to help him). It was to be in storage free for one month until I got an apartment. I called them on July 22nd and advised was ready to move and was told I owed $1180 cash before off loading. Said the extra $230 was for the extra week of storage since I had so much stuff (again 3 rooms of furniture). It took 14 more days for delivery and then many items were damaged and my computer hard drive, keyboard, mouse and cd burner were missing. I called the driver and he said he promised to look in the warehouse for it because no one else touched my stuff. When I tried to call back he would never answer. No one will return my calls, I sent a letter certified requesting their insurance company and the letter was returned refused. My computer has all my files etc on it and I desperately need it, but don't know where to turn. I was told I need to sue them for any satisfaction. I believe this company is a scam, bait and switch, and take advantage of someone who needs to move and store their things. I wish I had the time to research all the movers before I signed with them, but that is a lesson learned. I really feel others need to know to stay away from Vanlines4u at any cost. Their price sounded good, but again that was bait and switch all the way. Thank you
