Charged my credit card & I never ordered anything from them!

I'd never even heard of this company until I began receiving phone calls from a company saying they were Raven Media and stating that I had ordered a Grant package on the internet. I was charged 1.99 to my American Express account. I don't know how they got my credit card numbers! I never asked for any Grant package - I don't write grants! I called American Express and disputed the charges and they were removed from my account. How did they get my numbers and why did they think I ordered a Grant CD???
