Apartments from HELL

I rented an apartment from pama management and have had several problems with the apartment. The day they told me i was able to move in, i received the keys, walked in and saw all the walls covered with roaches. I was unable to move in for almost 2 weeks. I had to bomb the apartment several times and paid for it out of my own pocket. The managers told me they would reimburse me, but never did.

All the cabinets had been removed from the kitchen and i was told they were not going to replace them. I have one wall with out cabinets. I asked them to replace those and was denied. The cabinets above the sink is nearly falling off the wall and paint falling onto my food. They still have not fixed them.

I wrote a letter asking for things to be fixed. The answer was no because the maintenance only comes once a year. My apartment has had numerous plumbing problems. I asked to have it fixed and they told me i would need to wait until the plumbers come because they live up north and only come once a year. I have to shower in bathtub full of dirty water and brush my teeth in a sink of filthy water. I asked for my carpet to be cleaned. Their answer is no because i need to pay for it out of my pocket.

Every night there is a group of guys standing in the parking lot smoking weed and drinking beer. The music is so loud we can not hear our own televisions.

I received a letter from pama management stating we are going to be fumigated and need to stay away from our home for 4 hrs. Which i did, please keep in mind i had to take the day off of work to do this and the fumigation was the only time it had been done since i moved in a couple of years ago.

I received another memo telling me we are going to have an inspection from the health department and the owner (i had to take the day off again within the same week). The health department and the owner never showed up. I was called at work and told to go home because they need the keys to open the apartment. The inspectors were going to show up (i never received a memo that time and i had to miss work again), but the health inspector didn't show again. I called pama management and told them that i have been missing too much work for them not to show up and each time it's taking money out of my rent (meaning, i am not going to make my rent if i am not at work). When i was talking to the employee from pama management, she was very rude. She didn't want to listen to anything i had to say and told me that this situation had nothing to do with my rent. She told me that this conversation is over and hung up on me. Not 5 minutes later i received a knock at the door and a 3 day notice pay or quit. It was only the second day the rent was due.
