Don't Fall for AFC - extended warrantee

I had made the mistake of purchasing an extended warranty from AFC that was supposed to start when my existing dealer warranty expired, and last for 48,000 or 48 months. When the documentation arrived, they were starting the warranty 26,000 miles too soon. I had called and asked them to cancel or hold the policy start date. The sales rep on the phone said I could delay the start date until my current warranty expired at 100,000 miles; I would pre-pay the new warranty. I very foolishly did this. Now AFC is stating that there was no change in my policy, that I had the contract so they would not even listen or check their records. The General Manager, a man named Jay, would not listen to me, told me I kept changing my "story" and implied that I was a liar. I finally asked him to shut up and listen, his response was "NO. You are no longer a customer because your warranty has expired." He would not even listen to any requests to check their records for my phone call (2 years ago) requesting the change in the service. I was foolish for not getting it in writing, but they were incredibly duplicitous in their dealings. Stay clear of this company.
