North Trail RV Center Has Stolen $5,000 from Me

Anyone thinking about doing business with North Trail RV Center, also known as Lee County RV Sales Company, had better check with the Clearwater, Fl. Better Business Bureau before signing any contracts with this company. I only wish that I had!

At the Tampa RV show they exerted tremendous sales pressure to sign the sales contract that day, I gave them a $5,000 deposit on a Newmar 5th wheel travel trailer to be built in 2 to 3 months because it was to be a new model and there was a lead time at the factory in Indiana. When we got home and reviewed the contact almost 50% of the items that we had negotiated for were missing from the sales contract, we canceled our order the next day with North Trail RV Center and with Newmar Corporation, since then they will not respond to emails, letters, etc. They are keeping my $5,000, it has been 8 months and they will not respond. North Trail RV Center has a very long history of complaints with the Better Business Bureau.
Anyone thinking about purchasing an RV from North Trail TV Center had better do their home work before attempting to do business with them, and above all do not sign any sales contract until everything has been reviewed in writing, they refused to negotiate with us unless we signed the contract at the RV show that we would purchase the Newmar trailer that day if they came back with an offer that was acceptable. When we got home and opened the Xerox copy of the contract that they had given us, the back page of the contract was missing and almost 50% of the negotiated items were missing.

It took the Florida Secretary of State and the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles over 5 months to get a complete copy of the sales contract for me, these guys are real CROOKS!
