Tday I recieved a letter from this person claiming to be from a "Secret Society"

Today I recieved a letter from this person claiming to be from a 'Secret Society".in this letter I was asked repeatedly not to share any information about this, Nor could they give me any information about people involved with it. I was supposed to sign the invitation letter within three days after I recieved it, and send to the P.O. Box address, or fax it in order to recieve the free membership kit.

My letter states this " The association has analyzed your profile, please forgive us, but we've discovered something special about you.

It seems you (name) possess several rare traits we are searching for. Because of these traits, which we will talk about later, you are eligible to become part of our exclusive club and to share our greatest kept secrets, absolutely free!"

First off, WHAT PROFILE???
Second, they never do (in the whole letter) go back to address any traits like they claim they will!
Last, how can they expect anyone to go for this when there is no kind of letterhead, no name aside from the signature Katie... Typed Kate, and claiming that this is absolutely free a bunch of times.

I personally hope that this person / people involved are criminally charged! We all need to stand up for ourselves, and each other!!!

After running a reverse lookup on the phone number I found it to be in Buffalo, NY. That to me seems like a long way to go, to get the mail from the Dover, De. P.O. Box. Not exactly right around the corner!

Well I just want others out there to know that this scam is now in Pennsylvania and I am planning to contact the Police in reference to this.
