Honda Civic 2007 - Lemon - 2007 Honda Civic LX

Prior to owning my 07 Civic, I owned two other Civics (2002 & 2004). I thought since I hadn't had any problems with the first two Civics and because Honda is such a reputable company and product, the same would hold true for my third Civic. I couldn't have been more wrong. I have missed four days of work over the last six months and the car has been in the shop several times. Here is a list of all the failed parts my vehicle has experienced:
1. Sun Visor (split apart & repl under

Warranty. 2. High road force on tires (pd out of pocket for new tires and later found out about TSB). 3. Battery failed (car stalled, repl under warranty) 4. Battery failed again (car stalled, repl under warranty) 5. Air compressor relay (repl under warranty)

6. Air condensor (hit by mysterious road pebble - repl by goodwill) 7. Tensioner bolt (actually fell out of car, causing power steering to go out - repl by goodwill) 8. Tensioner Belt (repl by goodwill) 9. Water pump replaced (by goodwill). 7,8, 9 were replaced by "updated, re-engineered parts." Hmmm 10. Air condensor (mysteriously pierced by yet another road pebble - told by Honda Corporate to file an insurance claim.

Don't walk. Run as far away as fast as you can from Honda. Currently quality doesn't hold up against their reputation.
