Gray Chevrolet Of The Poconos
Sold me a certified vehicle that was not certified

Miscellaneous

In Aug. 05, I purchased a vehicle which was supposed to be certified used vehicle.in March I had to have the vehicle inspected so I took it to my mechanic. He failed due to bad lower ball joints. He told me to take it back to the dealership because it should not have passed certification. The dealership passed the vehicle, and told me my mechanic did not know what he was talking about because blazers have more play than other vehicles.

In May I had to have it inspected again (I needed an Aug. Inspection sticker) so I took it to the dealership. This time they failed it for the ball joints. After a long heated conversation they agreed to do it at their expense, however, three months later my car began making a squeaking noise. I took it to the mechanic, and he said there was no grease in the ball joints. He also informed me that the routers were bad, however, the brake pads were fairly new. He found that to be very odd, He thought they may have replaced the pads even though they knew the routers were bad, otherwise, the pads would also have been damaged. I went to the dealership, and they refused to reimburse me for the brakes.

Two days ago, I went to the dealership to get my car inspected, and I was told it had failed due to the brakes, as well as the ball joints. I then contacted chevrolet's 800 number, and I learned from them that my car was not a certified vehicle. (I have the paperwork that says it is). They told me that because of the amount of time they were not going to do anything. I must add that I paid cash for this vehicle, and could have purchased one through a private sale, however, I wanted piece of mind (ie. A certified vehicle). Do I have any recourse. Isn't the law 2 years from discovery. I have so much evidence of fraud I hope there is something that can be done.
