When you buy a service contract, they tell you that you'll get half back on a store credit if you don't use it. The catch is that you have to remember to redeem it within 90 days of its end date and they certainly don't send you a reminder even though it's registered in their computer system. Well, I bought a five year contract. What calendar or memory will record this to use it on time? Needless to say, the store would not honor my request for my half of $110 on a store credit unless I'd like to buy a large ticket item. IF I ever shop ABC again, I certainly will insist on an ironclad guarantee to use this feature.
