Peoplepc
Company began billing my debit card in Feb/08. They used my mother's name as the account holder. She is 88yrs old with dementia and I am her caregiver. No way she did this

Miscellaneous

Peoplepc began billing my account in Feb/08. I called the number on my debit account and told them that this was a mistake and I did not have an account with them, they said that it would be cancelled and apologized.

This has continued each month through July. I am also being charged service fees from my card company. I notified my card company and was told I had to cancel my card in order for the charges to stop being taken out. Why should I have to rearrange all of my business transactions to accomodate this fraud? In May this year, the fee went up and as of 8/16/08 I am owed 78.47. This is a charge of 6.94 peoplepc 1.00 service fee for 3months, and 13.90 peoplepc for 3months 1.00 service fee. I had to cancel my card and purchase a new card costing 9.95. When talking to the fraud division I was told by the agent that she would file the report, however, the first person I talked to gave me the email address, and told me to report this fraud. Thank you for whatever you can do to catch these thieves.
