Bait and switch

Fool that I was I took out a credit card with this company have had it just one year. I payed on time and in May I got the surprise of a 36% interest. There is no way that I can aford to pay this payment it more then doubled. I just recived a call that they will see me in court in Utah. I live in Maine guess I better get walking. I did owe them 5500. Hundred but now I owe them 6097. Of just add on late fees and interest.in three mths. I have tryed to work this out but they expect to much up frount that I don't have. Need to close this kind of practise down in America.
