My Credit Card was charged $88.97 for merchandise unordered, or received and no one will talk sensibly to me @ this

I ordered the Acai Cleanse 300 14 day trial. It was explained that after the 14th date my card would be charged and I would not be entitled to a refund or a credit for the trial shipment.

I had not heard anything else from this company, until my Credit Card company called me regarding a charge fr $88.97, of which I had absolutely no knowledge of. My Card company gave me a phone number for the creditor, and I proceeded to inquire.

I was very disappointed with the manner in which the supposedly Customer Service Department handled my inquiries. When I inquired of the legality of the $88.97, I was asked "didn't you read the terms and conditions that you agreed, when you ordered.

I responded that there was no terms and conditions, I ordered a trial order and nothing more or less. The question was repeated, and I again responded with there were no further agreements, and why would I be paying for merchandise that I haven't received?

The Customer Service employee literally "Hanged Up On Me". I waited 30 minutes and recalled, the same voice answered. When I stated that I didn't appreicate him hanging up on me, he of course denied it and said that I had not called there.

Now I am livid, I tried to E-Mail my complaint, and it would not go through. Thats when I searched the WEB Cite and saw so many rebuttles. I then called my Credit Card Company and asked them not to pay any bills to Acai, ever showing up on my account.

This has to stop. We are tired of being exploited and these kinds of behaviors need to be immediately dealt with. I am not going to pay for merchandise I haven't received, especially $88.97, there was no amount ever given except $12.95 plus postage for the trial size.
