Be Careful

I just found this site and I am glad I did because I had a situation with NO Regrets, a contracting company out of Conroe, TX. I am not even sure if they are licensed because everyone under the sun now has a contractor's license. My wife and I were looking at homes in 2006 and the house we looked into was a fixer-upper. We ran across the two gentlemen that worked for the company at Lowe's and decided to give them a chance if we had purchased the house. He told us that we pay for half the job before getting started, and the balance paid upon completion.

I was very skeptical about them, so I already had my red flag raised. We made an appointment for them to see the house, but when we called to confirm, the numbers of each man had been disconnected. They still made the appointment but we decided later that we were not going to buy. We then found another house and kept them in mind anyway just to see if there was pattern; I was right!

We had their new nubers and when we called, those were out of service... They had been using pre-paid phones. I was certainly glad that I did not give them any money because we would have ironically been left with MUCH REGRET!!! Please be careful when doing business with this company.
