Basically this company calls my employer daily asking them to verify my social security number. I made one payment and then thereafter had one disaster after another. Well I don't know if these people think I have the money to pay them $160-200 per month but I don't. I am a single mother of three trying to make ends meet daily in order to survive. I don't have a problem with paying my debt, but the amount in which they want is just astronomical. I am will to negotiate a price of what I can pay monthly but $200 just isn't it. They have already informed me that they will garnish my wages and I can't afford to let that happen.

I would appreciate it if they would compromise with me instead of working against me to pay this debt. I called Direct Loans to speak with them directly and they keep referring me back to Van Rue stating that they will work with me. Well that has been a lost cause. Now that I am in between a rock and a hard space I am not sure what to do. I simply don't have the money at this time to send them.
