Rip-off False advertising FRAUD

I unfortunately actually believed Jim Peterson and what he preached about computers. He sold me on the fact that you can order it and try it and if you do not like it simply return the computer (thirty day money back guarantee). And I quote "ShopNBC does not play games like the other companies regarding returns. No restocking fees either". I am so glad I found this site because this man should be in JAIL not on TV.

The computer was delivered and I tried it but so many things advertised on TV were not true. Also, I kept receiving errors trying to use this piece of chunk.

Well I tried tech support and when I had to wait over 2 hours to actually speak to someone I knew I was in trouble. I immediately decided to return the system back and pay the $70 to ship. I figured a $70 lesson learned. Boy was I wrong.

I started trying to return this computer since June. I finally got thru to a tech person and they said they had to mail me these special labels which contain a RMA # (Return Authorization Number) on them. If you do not use these labels they told me the computer return will be refused and returned. So they said they would mail the return kit to me.

Two weeks went by and I called them again and said I didn't receive the labels yet. They then put me on hold listening to music for 2 hours and no one got back on the phone. This happens all the time. Finally I got the labels two weeks later, packed it up put the labels on and sent it UPS.

Well these thieves received my computer and refused it saying 30 days had passed. They just wrote "Refused-Return to Sender" on the boxes and sent it back to me. So, of course know I'm furious.

I called again and got to speak to somebody and I told them I called within the 30 day time period and you sent me your stupid labels. I said you would not have sent me the Return kit if it was more than 30 days so do not give me any crap answer. I told him to check my records and sure enough he said I did the right thing and confirmed the 30 days. So I said now what do I do?

He said I'll send you another return kit. I said fine but your paying the shipping this time. Just a side note when you try calling Shop NBC customer service about the computers, they say they have nothing to do with them you have to contact Viscom Tecnology.

In summary, I did receive something in the mail from them but it wasn't the return labels. It was a form letter stating that I could not return the computer because of the 30 day thing and that they would however honor my warranty if you have any problems.

Phone calls have been going back and forth and since I purchased the computer on their SHOP NBC card I told them I will not be paying you a dime. If you want the computer come get it, it's all packed up with your return labels on it. Or better I told Shop NBC credit card company to call Viscom Tecnology themselves and have fun trying to get to speak to someone, you will be on hold for hours. This continues to be a nightmare scam.
