Faceless lazy creeps taking advantage, RIPPED ME OFF TWICE IN LESS THAN 30 DAYSw / UNAUTHORIZED charges, no recourse. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Words of wisdom, anyone?

My son bought me my very 1st computer just last month. What a cesspool of liars, thieves&scam artists this Internet world is. LOOKOUT for myhoodia.com, &adiprinerx.com. I can't even tell you HOW to look out, because I NEVER ordered ANYTHING&have had 2charges in less than 30days of $69.95,2nominal charges for "international tolls".. HOW DID THESE CREEPS GET MY INFO? Is this a common occurance?

After calling numbers, which only had bogus recordings, referring me to other numbers, referring me BACK to the web... I'm on a fixed income, &regardless, its the principal... I feel so foolish, &SO DAMN FURIOUS!!! I had no choice but to close down my credit card account-but since I don't know HOW they got my debit card info, will that even help? The only time I can think of that I gave any info was over the phone, to the very security company, supposedly watching over my little laptop, for all the bad stuff in cyberspace. I guess i picked the wrong security company. Is it possible that this was done by some RATFINK who is employed there? I hope not. Any advice, other than to throw this thing out the window?
