MO2 Privacy Plus
Ripoff, unauthorized charges to credit card Internet

Education & Science

Two unauthorized charges have been added to my Visa credit card. The 1st, in October, for $1.00 and the second in November for $14.95.

I called 1-877-500-5774, the phone number given for help and spoke with Yvonne, no. 16353. I explained to her that I had NOT subscribed to this "Privacy Plus", did NOT want it and to please take the charges off my credit card account.

I also asked how they had gotten my credit card number. She stated that AOL had given them that information. That bit of info sounds incredible, but HOW did the get it? I SURE didn't give it to them, nor any other info. So far as I know they had only my email address.
Yvonne put me on hold (to talk to her supervisor), came back and said that the charges would be taken off my credid card.

If those SCAM ARTISTS has access to my credit card info, what other hackers can obtain my private info? I order quite a lot of items thru internet. Will I have to stop this practice? I sure hope not.
