Tribute Master Card
Like the mafia, once you join, you cant get out!

Cancelled a tribute master card, only applied for it to re-establish my poor credit (paid 19.00 a month just to hold the card, plus a high interest rate) i willingly did this till better offers came, at this time i called to cancel, got a payoff balance, paid themand receieved a letter on july 16th saying acct closed and please cut up my card-life is good.

Now, on august 8th, i get a statement saying i need to send them a past due pmt chg of 36.00? I call (india of course) they confirm acct closed july 16th but they will just add another 36.00 next month and so on if i dont pay them??? No lie, he could offer no explanation, just pay it.

He told me they will put this on my credit report if i dont pay-here i go again, just when im getting my credit straightened out-just thought id share and at this point im ready to hire an atty, rather pay them than tribute, i bet atty's love this crap
