AT&T Vesta Payments On A Gophone
Company took unauthorized payments out of my bank account with debit card numbe

Miscellaneous

Near the first of July, I received a surprise when my bank account had a debit of $25.00 that I did not recognize as something I had purchased or authorized.

Upon checking the internet, I found out that this was an AT&T Gophone payment company. This made me very angry feeling ripped-off!!!

I got in touch with this company by sending an E-mail asking them not to do this again.

This past week, Aug 1, they did it again so I called them & was on the phone for 35 minutes being routed from one person to another-4 times mostly on "hold".

Finally someone talked to me who told me that I authorized the payment July 1 then when I told her I was on vacation out of state that week she said I did it June 1. I kept on saying I did not authorize these payments and everytime I said that she said, "You or someone who has your information authorized them". Nobody has my information-not even my husband. I told her not to do it again & asked what number to call if it happened again. She said, call 1-866-499-7888 & ask for a supervisor.
