Completed offers for "FREE" Gift and still nothing... Beware

Miscellaneous

I came across a company that was offering a $500 Home Depot gift card if you completed selected links to their sponsors. I thought I would give it a try. I started the process last year on 7/3 and finished the last offer on 9/3. I had completed all their offers and sent in my certificates. It came to my attention one of the offers was invalid since, they claimed, I didn't go through the link.

After several e-mails, phone calls, and sending in my information via fax 3 different times, they have stated I have completed all the requirements to receive my "Free" gift card. I have spoken to several people and they did not indicate that I would need to do anything else. The last person I spoke with who finally got everything resolved for me, said I was good to go once they receive the certificates (for a third time). I called today to find out the status and they said they would get it in cue.

They are NOW requesting 3 forms of ID once I receive an e-mail and instructions... This was never mentioned to me until now. UHHHGGG!!! (my address has never changed since day one-just send it to that address is all I ask). I just spoke with a supervisor who was very rude and, my guess, was having a bad day. I asked to speak to her supervisor or at least a number to her corporate office or at least where they are located. She would not give me that information and that I could go look it up on the internet.

I state that I was trying and asked her for the website. She said she didn't have time for me to do that. She stated she was terminating the call. This has been going on for almost a year. I would have given up but now it is just the principle. I am on a mission to get the card through any means necessary. I will never use this service again nor will I ever recommend it. Beware... I know I should have sensed this from the beginning... Live and learn... But I am not going away.
