Fraudulent Sale of 1990 Corvette on E-Bay

I purchased this Automobile on March 22. I Paid $500.00 on Pay-Pal, and then sent a Cashiers Check for $3,600.00 on April 11.

Seller told me that it could be Transported for about $700.00 by a friend. When I called them, they said $976.00. Then I decided to come and pick it up.

I then found out that I could not get a Title, Registration, Plates, or anything that would allow me to transfer it in California, in Minnesota or apparently anywhere.

Brad sent me Lien Papers made out to a Daniel Burgess. He also sent me papers from Daniel Burgess to me. All of the paperwork according to the Minnesota DMV appeared to be Bogus. They told me that the only way to get Titled was to at least have a bill of Sale from someone who owned it, and then Transferred to me.

It appears that Brad Revelli, who sold me the car never owned it at all. I asked him to furnish me with a Phone Number for Daniel Burgess. For some reason he would not do that.

Even the lien papers transferring to Dan Burgess appear to have had the Price altered.

According to the Minnesota DMV it seems like Brad Revelli is acting as a Dealer without being one. It appears that he, or Daniel Burgess, or both, are trying to circumvent the California Sales Tax.

I don't know for sure, but it appears to me that I am being scammed, along with the State of California.
Brad says that if I would have had it Transported we would not have this problem. I disagree&If I had had it Transported I would be in the same situation except for out another $976.00 for Transport, but I couldn't Title it, Transfer it, Register it, or even park it in my driveway without Plates.

I'm hoping that you can help me.

He now wants to charge me for storage from the first of June.

It's beginning to look like a complete Scam.

Maybe the trick is to charge enough for storage, that he retains it, and does this same thing again.
I have tried everything that I can, and he tells me he will do nothing but charge me storage until I come for the Car.

Today I was informed by the California DMV that the car has been sold to someone else.

This person stretched the sale out to over sixty days so that E-Bay or Pay-Pal will not stand behind the Sale.

I Personally believe that E-Bay and Pay-Pal are complicit in this scam.

The people who sold the Automobile to Daniel Burgess will not give out any information either. This car has no plates or registration, and has not been Registered since 2005.

Never again will I Purchase any Big ticket item through E-Bay, or Pay through Pay-Pal. I believe that they know exactly what is going on, and are complicit in the fraud.

If there is an Attorney who would want to take this case on, I would like to sue not only Brad Revelli, but also Daniel Burgess, E-Bay, and Pay-Pal.
