Midland Fundin - MCM my 80 year old mother is a victim someone please help

My mother received notice that she was being sued by Midland Funding today. She is 80 years old and is in the later stages of dementia. She has no idea what is going on from day to day so i took the letter and started investigating it. First i tried to find a contact number when nothing came up i googled the name the first 10 entries came up usacomplaints.com when i started reading i began to worry. I called the local court house to verify and sure enough they are trying to sue her for $1186.00 from a credit card that she had 8 years ago.

When she became ill she filed chapter 7 that was 4 years ago and would have included any credit cards right? YES it would! Well i get the number to the atty that is handling the case Richard Moxley out of Montgomery Alabama and he will not talk to me about it at all he wouldn't even consider the situation that i am in trying to handle her affairs. I did get a number to Midland from the usacomplaints.com site 800-825-8131 i called them and explained the situation all over again and they asked me for her SSN i would not give it to them i did how ever give them the "account number" that is in question and she pulled it up, told me that she couldn't discuss it with me and paused for a second. I asked her for her name and she told me that she couldn't discuss it with me. I then asked her if she was even listening to me that the person they are suing is not coherent and i am speaking for her she told me to have a nice day and hung up on me. Never giving me her name but she did give me enough food for thought that i need to get on the ball with this and get help. I can;t do it on my own. I will not stand still and watch this happen to an elderly lady with a disease.
