Double pending transactions, pay the first transaction, the second pending transaction just disappears

This is not the first time this has happened and I'm so over it. When I pay an item w/my salute credit card they put the transaction in pending status 2 times. The same transaction for the same exact amount of money 2 different times for absolutely no reason I can think of accept to rip me off. When the money is in pending status you can't touch it. I called to find out when it was going to be put back into my account. Of course I had to call 4 or 5 times. I was finally told it would be put back into my account at midnight on the 24th.

But, guess what, there is no transaction showing where the money was put back into my account and now they've charged me and over the limit fee and 2 other fees. Of course, the disappearing pending money would have covered these expenses, but I guess it just isn't enough money for them. I've had other problems with them in the past andI'm at my wits end. Since when do credit card companies have the right to make rules up as they go along. I guess the best thing for me to do is consolidate the 4 cards I have and not mess with these greedy s.O. B's.

I'm on a very low fixed income. I can't afford to pay for these companies perks and outrageous salaries anymore. Here's some advise. Stay away from salute credit card company. If they can't rip you off one way, they will find another way to do it!!!
