ZIPWIDEWEB Staying on top of Scam Artists

From the moment these people (ZipWideWeb) phoned me, I had a bad feeling. However, I didn't follow my instinct this time. I allowed my business partner to take the call and he agreed to a 30 day trial. He told me that ZWW would contact us shortly to see how we liked the trial. I did receive several calls from them but in each instance, they asked how I liked the process and packet. At that point, I had no clue what they were talking about. I asked them to resend it to me. All three times I went through the same old "song and dance" routine. To date, I've not received what they promised.
I received a bill this month with a charge from "The Billing Resource" another cohort scammer. They are a third party biller for ZWW. Fortunately, I only pay for what I know that I owe on any given bill. Hence, no payment to ZWW.
FYI: AT&T told me how to get past paying for third parties billings. We need to contact AT&T and let them know that we are disputing the bill. They will put a 60 day hold on the 3rd party charge and wait for the credit from them. If in that period, the 3rd party does not credit the account, another call is required to keep AT&T at bay.
I'm positive that the rep at ZipWideWeb felt my fury. But with an outfit like that, you have to consider the people who represent them... Very offensive just as their tactics...
