United States Legal Investigation Bureau
Left voicemail alerting me that a criminal case was filed against me for fraud and that I needed to call him otherwise he did not know what would happen to me

Miscellaneous

I received two voicemails from a man with a heavy middle eastern or african accent telling me that there was a criminal case against me for fraud. He said that I needed to call him otherwise he did not know what would happen to me. After the second voicemail, I called. The number, 202-715-0902, appeared to be a cell phone because there was a ringtone of music.

When he answered and I told him who I was, he hesitated and then said, " Oh my God, you are in so much trouble! I have been trying to contact you to help you. They are coming to arrest you! Let me get some information from you so that I can help you." I then told him that I knew this was a scam and that I was contacting my local police. He told me not to otherwise they would arrest me!

I filed a report with my local sherrif's office. I was relieved to see that others have also received these calls.
