Fifty Bucks? For what?!

I recieved a bill today for $49.95 through paymentone.com through my telephone company. I knew I did not authorize any kind of charges.in conversations with both my wife and I, the representatives were rude and insulting. I was told they have a recording of me authorizing some sort of internet placement. I do not recollect authorizing that either.
I am not sure what this company does to earn this kind of money, but it seems to be a scam.
The supervisor today told me he does not own the company, but has no supervisor either. Unless you work for yourself, everyone has someone to report to, even CEOs of major companies.
Do not use or agree to anything with this group! Hang up the phone, ASAP!
