Abusive, offensive, harrasing sales people

The company I work for bought some sawz all blades a few years ago from this company. What a mistake! They have been calling a couple times a week since then, and we have told them repeatedly not to call, but they just keep calling - First on the business line and then on the home line.

I had the great misfortune of answering the phone yesterday numerous times only to be hung up on... Numerous times. Finally, I decided to make the best of it and answer with a fake accent. The guy on the phone immediately started making fun of me (even though my accents sound pretty genuine ;-). The more I did it the worse it got. He started saying he was "going to blow my f-ing house up and kill me", and he even told me he was "going to finger my a* and then finger my wife."

Im not sure where they find these guys, but, i can tell you one thing, it NEEDS to be delt with. Companies like California Contractor Supply need to own up the the fact that this is going on and a lot of people are getting tired of it (even if the salespeople dont work for them directly; they are still representing them). Not to mention, what they are doing is AGAINST THE LAW! I am all for sales people making money. Being successful in sales is a hard thing to do, but using scare tactics and threatening to charge people's credit cards is not only wrong from a moral aspect, but its against just about every comsumer protection act out there - along with credit card fraud being a FEDERAL OFFENSE. So, if you work for California Contractor Supply, or are a "broker", STOP HARRASING HONEST, HARD WORKING PEOPLE. You NEED to learn some good sales tactics and pitches. Take a class, get some class, and get a life, because we are too busy to deal with the fact that you dont currently have one.
