Ripped off on Highlights magazine order from door to door salesmen

Miscellaneous

On Nov 29 two young afro-american student-looking youngsters came to my door in the evening and told me they were working towards scholarships for education and they just needed a couple more magazine orders. They took my check, crossed out the phone number on the invoice and hand wrote a new number so I could contact someone if I didn't receive my magzines after about 8 weeks.

It is July now and I have not seen a single magazine issue.
I cannot reach anyone via the 2 phone numbers I was given: 786-293-7990 on the invoice, and 305-722-7451 written by the salesmen by hand.

It is such a shame to be ripped off under the pretext of helping out students.
