Very obvious rip-off in the mail

Received a letter in the mail re: my 2002 Honda (never owned one) telling me the factory warranty has expired! The letter went on to say that their offer was good "for only 72 hours"... I called them 3 weeks later and they still were certainly most willing to take my money and hoodwink me if I was gullible enough to fall for it. I talked to some idiot who gave his name as John when I called the first time, then gave his name as Shawn when I called again. He went into great detail about the car I never owned and what they could do for me. When I told him I thought they were a fraud that I never such a car he insisted that I did, that they always verified the accuracy of their information. I told him he was wrong. He hung up on me. A week later I called and the same dingbat answered the phone. I gave him the same "customer ID number" from the letter and went through a silly exchange with the dope again. These people are amazing, even for crooks.
