This company called me and offered me a credit card with a limit of $2000.00 for a down payment of $200.00 credited out of my account

One day I recieved a call from one of the customer respresentatives offering me a credit card with a limit of $2000.00 with only the limited amount of $200.00 being credited out of my own personall account. Everything sounding so legit I went ahead and started the process, not realizing that I would of been one of the poeple fallin in a scam. This happened on feb. 19th of 2008 and till this day I cannot get call back from them and am not able to get through them by the phone number they provided me with 866-529-7037.

I did get to speak to a couple of representatives but they would only keep telling that the credit card was on the way, this was about 3 times in the month of may. Till this day I try to call the same number and the line sounds like it is disconected. I asume they had caller ID. To find out who is calling them. The customer service representatives were very rude and did not help much at all. Now I am filing a complaint because I do not belive this is correct in regards to them taking inocent peoples money when the economy is really bad.

I want to find some help to get my $200.00 back again. Unfortuanatley I had to close my account afraid that they might be able to get in to it again and withdrawl money with out my concent. I would adv. Any one out there if they get a credit card offer there is no way a credit card should ask you to give them money before they do to you. You should know that it might be a scam.
