Strange call, No other information

This morning, June 30, my wife received a call un-which the guy started the conversation with the, "For security reasons I need to verify your address and home phone." afterwards he went on to ask for her SS. He wouldn't say who he was or where he was calling from. We looked at the phone Id and it said that it was from Virginal so I did a reverse with a little research on the areas collection agencies. What I found was this site which was on the same address and area with the same strange similarities. I'm about 90% sure that this is the same company so I wanted to give a heads up to the Tom-Foolery.
